I have a New Fitness Pal!

Early this year a group of us had a wonderful time with my 2007 Great Weight Loss Challenge. I didn’t provide a weight loss program, everyone chose what they wanted, and we supported one another through a discussion group, and still do.

Recently I’ve been introduced to a new and free diet and fitness website, and really appreciate the tools they offer. The site is clean and uncluttered, something that is important to me, and the free tools are very helpful.

Once you join (free, no credit card is required) you complete a diet profile. Then you are provided with suggested goals. The goals I gave them did not match the results that I received, in other words, I wanted to lose 2 lbs week, but their projection for me is between 4-5 lbs. by July 4th. Actually, losing slow and steady is better as your eating habits become a part of your lifestyle, so I’m fine with that.

Next, you are told how many calories you will be eating a day. You are given tools, one being a FREE online calorie counter , to follow your progress throughout each day; for example you can track how many calories you have left for the day after providing what you have done nutritionally or physically during the day.

This looks great, and I’m excited about giving it a try. If you’re curious, stop by and visit myfitnesspal.com.

  2. Sorry I missed this post, Sherry, yes, I do like Fitness Pal, but haven't used it as much as I'd like.

Need to find me a routine somewhere along the line, but there have been so many interruptions.

    Blessings!
