I am a Christian Blogger and What That Means

Over and over as I blog, the thought comes, "You've never shared a thing about Me". No, not ME, Claudia, the author of this blog, but my supernatural friend, Jesus. Now if you don't believe in the supernatural work of Jesus, don't go running off too quickly, just read the following, I received it from a friend by email, and loved how it expressed some of what being a Christian means to me.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean livin'', I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride, I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong, I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success, I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain, I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Isn't that beautiful? Thank whoever wrote this for the words that express some of my heart.

Have a blessed day!

  1. well said. it is really good to think in this way and by saying things like this i think others can get an idea of doing thinking like you.

  2. Sorry it took me so long to respond to your kind post...I pray that you are right, that others will "get an idea of thinking like" me. What God has to offer through Jesus isn't just for me, it's for everyone. I will explain more in another post as we get close to Christmas, when we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth.
