I want to talk a bit about something not related to food.

First, I hope all of you have enjoyed a thankful Thanksgiving, and are looking forward to Christmas. I know that the economy is affecting our household, another job change for hubby, reduced pay, no pay for holidays for 90 days, etc., but we are thankful that my husband has a job. In spite of many challenges, there is always something to be thankful for, I think we appreciate the small blessings more that we might have otherwise overlooked.

In spite of all that we hear in the media, to me, having a husband or wife, father or mother, son or daughter, overseas in the military, or even worse, recovering from an injury sustained at war, would be so much harder than our present circumstances.
